My team was amazing and had a learning mindset. They were ready to offer help when needed but also wanted to challenge me. I had two senior devs and a junior dev to look to for advice. There were several intern events that made it easier to get to know the very large class of 60-70 interns.
What I wish was different
Amway is a global company and with that their developers are worldwide as well. This led to meetings at 7 in the morning and sometimes earlier.
The office was only in person two days a week so if I went in on off days it was a ghost town.
Advice
Just try to learn as much as possible and ask to try different kinds of tasks.

Amway offers real life experience to interns. The projects given are current and requires the intern to apply all knowledge learned in Food science and Nutrition. My project was very hands own and my mentor was always available and willing to guide me.

What I liked
The three projects I was assigned for the summer would have a direct impact to the distribution center that I was interning within. I was able to work with cross-functional teams from around the company to complete my projects. I was also able to present my projects to leadership within Amway's supply chain.
What I wish was different
Nothing, the internship was absolutely awesome. I was supplied with all my necessary resources to complete my projects.
Advice
Do not hesitate to make connections with other co-workers. The individuals I interacted with at Amway were awesome people and always made time to share their background and experiences with me.
