Shift Timings: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Work Environment: 100% Onsite (Candidates MUST be local)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and eager Coatings Field Analyst Co-Op/Intern to join our technical services team. This is a unique opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Chemistry or Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the coatings industry. As a Coatings Field Analyst, you will assist in providing technical support, performing product analysis, troubleshooting coating issues, and enhancing our products' performance in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, monitor, and report on key product and process characteristics related to coatings.
• Provide technical support to sales and technical teams, ensuring high-quality customer service and product analysis.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and report coating-related issues for continuous product and process improvement.
• Support problem resolution and improvement initiatives based on customer performance expectations.
• Assist in monitoring and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) within product service environments.

Qualifications:
Experience: 0-3 years

Education: Currently enrolled in a Chemistry or Engineering program (Bachelor’s or equivalent).

Skills:

• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and problem-solving techniques (root cause analysis).
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

• Problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time.
• Availability for rotating shifts and weekends, as required.
• Some travel may be required on a limited basis.
