Chemistry Worksheet Creator
We are looking for creative and detail-oriented individuals that are currently enrolled or recently graduated from college with a strong background in organic chemistry and biochemistry, to join our team as Worksheet Creators. As a Worksheet Creator, you will be responsible for developing educational materials that enhance the learning experience of students studying organic chemistry and biochemistry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Worksheet Development: Create comprehensive, thorough, and engaging worksheets covering various topics in organic chemistry and biochemistry, aligning with educational standards and learning objectives. Organic chemistry worksheets will consist of concepts discussed in both Organic I and II courses at a university level. Biochemistry worksheets will consist of concepts discussed in intro to biochemistry and/ or biochemistry I courses at a university level.
Problem Solving: Develop challenging yet solvable problems and questions that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
Content Organization: Structure worksheets logically, presenting information in a clear and sequential manner to facilitate understanding and retention.
Answer Key Creation: Provide accurate and detailed solutions for each worksheet to aid students and educators in the learning process. Answer keys must be detailed and thorough in order to allow student understanding when completing questions incorrectly.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy of scientific content, proper use of terminology, and adherence to educational guidelines.
Feedback Incorporation: Collaborate with educational experts and incorporate feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of the worksheets. With feedback from scientists, an ideal Worksheet Creator will be able to incorporate suggestions while growing in their knowledge and ability to develop clear problems and solutions.
Adaptability: Be open to modifying worksheets based on evolving educational requirements and feedback. Worksheet review may consist of several rounds that allow for quality assurance and the best quality worksheets to be posted on our site.
Required Experience and Skills:
Educational Background: Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, or recent college graduate.
Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of Organic chemistry and/or Biochemistry concepts, with the ability to translate complex ideas into student-friendly language.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in crafting questions, solutions, and explanations to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Creativity: Ability to create engaging and interactive educational content that sparks interest and promotes active learning.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills to convey concepts and solutions in a comprehensible manner as well as the ability to clearly communicate needs and work completion with the Team Lead and other colleagues. This includes communicating ability/inability to meet deadlines and suggestions for improvement with the Team Lead.
Time Management: Capable of managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and produce high-quality worksheets consistently.
Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate with educators and incorporate their input into the worksheet creation process.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for worksheet creation, namely Google Drive and ChemDraw
