Our vision is a Virginia Tech community where students, faculty and staff of all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, classes, abilities, ages are free to express all aspects of their identities; can succeed academically, professionally and personally; are free from gender- and power-based violence ; and are inspired to promote equity and challenge oppression. The Center’s programs and services are rooted in principles of anti-oppression, anti-racism, inclusivity, intersectionality, feminism, trauma-informed care, and social justice.
