Paper Science R & D Intern or Co-Op

How You will Make an Impact:

Our program is designed to give you the chance to make a true impact on our business. As an R&D Intern or Co-op, you will have a direct impact on our business and will be involved with the following work and projects.

  • Conducting trials to include prep, and post-trial reporting.
  • Lab experiments for ongoing research projects.
  • Gather data and generate reports.
  • Assist with investigations through systematic root cause methodology.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree at an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Paper Science, or majoring in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science with a focus/minor in Paper Science.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (ex. JMP, Minitab).
  • Prior work experience.
  • All applicants must U.S. Citizens and Demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust consistent with our government contract requirements.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience with converting large, raw data sets into intelligent formats for trending, analysis and visual reporting via MS Excel.
  • Candidate has completed at least one full year of college or university studies; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors.
