 inThought Research Associate Internship    

We welcome applications from candidates who are eager to step outside of the lab and into the world of life sciences consulting and competitive intelligence! 

 

SNAPSHOT:

  • Immersive, individualized consulting internship at a leading agency
  • Fully remote
  • $20-30 per hour
  • Flexible weekly schedule (6-10hrs/week)
  • 6-month duration with potential for extension

 

DETAILS:

The inThought Research Associate internship program allows graduate and post-doctoral researchers to gain life science consulting experience while developing business acumen and subject matter expertise. 

Research Associates are exposed to a large range of topics and routinely contribute to active client deliverables and projects.

Activities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Summarizing healthcare industry news
  • Providing clients with strategic analysis and decision support
  • Distilling secondary research into a variety of client reports
  • Assisting with ad hoc client requests
  • Participating in the firm’s daily conference call

We work with our research associates to create a customized experience that allows for broad exposure to several therapeutic areas and projects. Project staffing, weekly schedule, and program duration are determined by the associate’s schedule, goals, and interests.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

All applicants should be pursuing or have completed an advanced degree in the biological sciences or medicine (non-biology degrees are considered with relevant experience).

Eligible candidates include:

  • PhD, MD/DO, PharmD students (4th year and beyond)
  • Post-doctoral researcher (all years)
