Fall 2024 Engineering Co-Op

Come join the industry leader in hydraulic utility equipment!  Our Engineering Co-Op will provide support to all functional areas of our Engineering Team at our Birmingham campus, with a primary focus on rapid continuous improvement (RCI).  Engineering Co-Op will rotate through all 3 Engineering Departments which include Manufacturing, Quality, and Design.  

Altec is currently experiencing record growth and is committed to hiring candidates who will continue that record of success.

Major Responsibilities:

Design/Manufacturing/Quality Co-Ops will work on various engineering projects in the engineering department, attend RCI events, and make a real difference that will be felt firsthand by those who build our custom bodies.

Basic Qualifications:

•Must be able to provide documentation stating that they are enrolled full-time in the College or University and good standing.

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

•Must be at least 18 years of age.

•Must have completed a minimum of 24 hours of coursework, or have earned sophomore class standing.

• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
