Landscape Student Intern

In your role as Landscape Student Intern, you’ll support Cunningham Staff to succeed by providing superior client service for various projects. In a collaborative and supportive work environment, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in prominent, impactful, and challenging land development projects.    

Your responsibilities as a Cunningham Landscape Student Intern will include:

  • Play an important role on the Landscape Architecture team in the design of public and private projects.
  • Collaborate with civil engineering team members.
  • Coordinate development of conceptual sketches for master plans and conceptual plans.
  • Produce color rendering landscape conceptual plans and exhibits.
  • Support the production of landscape construction documents.
  • Help with the preparation of construction cost estimates.
  • Research landscape products, hardscapes, vegetation, and materials as requested.
  • Contribute to the production of project specifications.
  • Assist with agency processing.
     

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Motivated, positive, personable personality.
  • Work and communicate well with team members.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to interact with clients or peers in a friendly, professional manner while balancing multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in a variety of Software Applications, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Land F/X and/or SketchUp software, a plus.
  • Excellent, verifiable references.

 

Pay:

This position's salary range is $16-$26 hourly depending upon skills, experience, and education.
