Pain Relief R&D is a global team, responsible for delivering innovation to consumers worldwide. We leverage the power of teamwork, curiosity, scientific excellence, and consumer obsession to deliver superior solutions to everyday problems.
As a Co-Op with the Pain Relief R&D team, you will get the opportunity to work with one of the market leaders in pain relief and collaborate with experts across the global organization.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
- Work in a compliant manner to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the protection of the environment
- Demonstrate excellence in the application and communication of statistical science in new product development
- Under the supervision of a senior staff, apply standard data science methods to solve analytical questions, including collecting data, cleaning data, and apply quantitative data science methods to predict product performance
- Develop new innovations for topical patch application
- Collaborate with analytical scientists to develop novel testing methods
- Optimization of product attributes and performance
- Optimize work process and procedures
- Conclude and communicate findings during tenure as coop to stakeholders

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:
Education required:
- Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical Science, Polymer sciences or related fields
- Able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 6-month Co-Op cycle (June/July – January)
Other requirements:
- Working knowledge of skin science and adhesion technology would be preferred
Role start date: June/July - December 2024
