Job Description:

As a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assigned tasks across a broad range of electrical engineering disciplines including the design, test, and integration of CCAs containing analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuits, along with supporting cables and wiring harnesses all targeting advanced tactical weapon platforms, sensors, and avionics.

The Agile Development Group (ADG) specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Under the supervision of a senior engineer, perform design tasks such as requirements analysis, specification generation, interface definition, component selection, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layout.
  • Direct assignments for simulation, bread-boarding and testing electrical circuits and functions.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for electrical subsystems.
  • Perform and report results of test and evaluation of electrical CCAs.
  • Present results in internal & external design reviews
  • Learn and follow company processes for product development, configuration management, purchasing, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
  • Experience with Altium designer or other similar CCA design toolsets
  • Experience with basic circuit design practices
  • Experience with circuit card test equipment

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Must be willing to work on a team to support overall program goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
  • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
  • Experience using Visio Pro
