RF Systems Engineer/Technician

Looking to fill Full-time, Part-time, and Paid Internship roles

No Experience necessary. All majors welcome. All we ask is for applicants to be dependable with a willingness to learn. All necessary Training will be provided.

The RF Wireless Coverage Tester will collect and analyze test data for two-way radio systems to demonstrate reliable coverage areas. Tests typically measure three parameters: Delivered Audio Quality (DAQ), Bit Error Rate (BER), and/or Signal Strength (SSI).

This position will work directly with customers. We have projects both locally in the DC/MD/VA area as well as short term travel opportunities for projects all over the US and some internationally.

Daily Tasks include:

· Conduct testing using specialized software on two-way radio systems

· Conduct DAQ, BER, and/or SSI Tests to verify coverage

· Troubleshoot software and/or hardware issues with test equipment

· Navigation and mapping of routes for Drive Tests

· Quick learner and retain relevant system knowledge through applied learning

· Typical day spent testing in a vehicle or at 911 Dispatch center
