If you do and you like to collaborate with similar minded people, the Global Insights & Analytics team has an exciting opportunity for you to use your skills to uncover insights about brand and advertising across a range of audiences that will provide momentum for the future of our company and brand.
This role is responsible for consumer research project management and initiative support within the Global Insights & Analytics team. In this role you will support the broader Global Brand & Strategic Marketing Insights team in a variety of activities that may include research project management, analytics and statistical analysis and data visualization. The position is located at Visa's headquarters in Foster City, California. We are open to considering candidates in other Visa locations (Atlanta, GA). Under the direction of the Director – Global Brand Insights. In this role you will:
- Be a critical member of the global consumer insights and analytics center of excellence that supports Visa's global marketing and communications organizations.
- Use a consultative approach with business partners to identify and translate business requirements and questions into research objectives that inform business decisions.
- Provide custom insights supporting the development, implementation, and successful execution of Visa’s global initiatives and marketing programs.
- Scope and conduct analyses, translate your findings into a set of initial insights, and create compelling stories that provide practical insight for our marketing teams.
- Perform research project management tasks including sample and quota management, change management, data governance in conjunction with supplier partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners, including global marketing, global sponsorship, global strategy, and communications.
- Partner with our supplier partners to monitor the quality and delivery of key commitments.
- Facilitate ongoing communication between regional insight teams and coordinate insight sharing and best practices.
- Be a leader operating according to Visa’s leadership principles in every aspect of your role.
On a regular basis, the associate will collaborate with Directors on the team to scope new research projects, manage supplier partners, conduct analyses, create, and deliver presentations to brand and marketing business partners. BAU responsibilities will focus on the following areas: Brand Health, Brand Strategy & Brand Sponsorship and Innovation, and advertising/creative development & effectiveness. The types of projects the associate will support may include the following:
- Delivery of data analysis, visualizations, and reporting of insights for Visa Sponsorship marketing including NFL, Olympics 24, Olympics 28, She’s Next Grant Program, Roblox and other partnership marketing initiatives.
- Collaborating with supplier partners to scope, price, populate, and organize projects including discussions about analytical approach, analytic plans, and delivery of insights.
- Project management for qualitative and quantitative research supporting brand, creative and marketing programs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Students pursuing a MBA Degree with a graduation date between December 2024 and August 2025; Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 1 to 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master’s Degree/ MBA).
- The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on.
- Strong ability to collaborate.
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
- Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity.
- Master’s degree in Consumer Behavior, Psychology, Marketing, Market Research, Sociology, Anthropology, Statistics or in a quantitative field like Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred. Master of Marketing Research is a plus.
- Some experience in survey research, consumer data analysis, business analytics, ongoing measurement is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, Power BI, Tableau or other data analysis and visualization tools is a plus. Knowledge of programming languages helpful.
- Foundational understanding of branding, advertising (traditional and digital), marketing concepts and strategy a plus; background in payments, tech, consulting, CPG, or retail are a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated mastery in data analysis and project management with the ability to inspire and influence others to act on insights.
- Intellectually curious and analytically rigorous with strong desire and willingness to understand and pressure test data. Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, a proactive approach, strong planner and problem solver.
- Must display strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into easily digestible stories for senior management consumption; Must be fluent in English.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
