Job Description
The Global Co-brand Partnership organization’s mission is to deliver co-brand growth through a deep understanding of the context within Visa’s global markets, the changing dynamics influencing co-brand, and our experience delivering industry best practices. This co-brand growth will be recognized through deeper partnerships, program wins, and increased volume. Our team is engaged across all Visa regions with personnel in the NA, LAC, Europe, CEMEA and AP in order to bring the very best of Visa’s global and local expertise and assets to our clients. We partner cross-functionally with multiple teams including MS&A and FI sales team, marketing, finance, VCA, and product and externally with third party agencies and consultants.
Our organization is part of the Global Business Development and Partnerships team within Global Merchant Sales & Acquiring and is well positioned to collaborate with Visa’s regional and local market teams on the following:
- Define Co-brand strategy within each market’s unique context
- Develop and deliver a customized set of training on global co-brand strategy and best practices
- Manage and curate pipeline development and the prioritization of key opportunities including
- New deals
- Competitive takeaways and conversions
- Existing client renewals
- Existing program optimization
- Lead a consistent and proactive approach to co-brand opportunities with multiple external partners merchant, issuer, fintech and consultant partners
- Represent Visa externally in the co-brand market with consultants and prospective partners via relevant conferences (both as attendees and/or speakers)
- Leading strategic initiatives that solve for key opportunities / challenges across markets
- Develop and deliver cross-market tools and resources to support business development and portfolio optimization efforts
Some job duties and projects could include:
- Strategic initiatives
- Collaborate on developing a number of additional thought leadership materials, including and not limited to the following:
- Industry strategy for merchant verticals
- Multi-market approach
- Emerging industries / non-traditional partnerships
- Example project: Evaluate co-brand landscape and opportunities across new verticals / emerging sectors, estimated market sizing, identification of priority prospects, an approach to prioritization, and recommendation on a short-medium GTM approach
- Business Development
- Support co-brand business development deals, clients and opportunity TBC based on business needs / candidate interest
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders at Visa (product, consulting, finance, sales), merchant / issuer / fintech clients, and senior leaders at Visa for deal endorsement
- Develop product proposition, go-to-market strategy, and ‘Visa value story’ throughout client pitch
- Structure and secure approval for commercial offer, engage in offer and contract negotiation
- Operations
- Deal pipeline management and reporting—leading and facilitating pipeline discussions with senior leaders across the global organization
- Operationalize global conference attendance approach
- Example project: Partner with regions to identify conference circuit, negotiate / determine Visa presence and scope of attendance, and partner with Business Development and Corporate Communications to develop Visa’s ‘narrative’ at key external and Visa events
- Global co-brand repository refresh
- Curation of updated examples and use cases to support client conversations
- Development of key data points to demonstrate the value of co-brand to Visa, merchants, and issuers
- Develop KPI benchmark analysis across regions, verticals, and product types
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Students pursuing a MBA Degree with a graduation date between December 2024 and August 2025. Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the payments industry, with a strong partnership focus combined with a deep perspective on the trends influencing the industry
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to follow through on strategies and deliver tangible business results
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment
- Proven record of accomplishment driving capability development and managing cross-functional initiatives to conclusion
- Demonstrated experience building and leveraging relationships across internal and client organizations.

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $53/HR USD , which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
