Research and Development Summer Intern
The Research & Development intern would receive high quality training and supervision from our experienced staff to solve product related problems through both fundamental and applied research. In order to expand the learning opportunities for our interns, projects include different aspects of the product line, from product research to process research to application development. The various areas of focus include: PVC Membrane, Polyiso, Adhesives and Innovation.

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting literature search on formulation and processing
- Working with a group of scientists to identify the necessary testing for the R&D projects
- Preparing samples for physical and analytical testing, including but not limited to FTIR, TGA, and GPC
- Performing physical and mechanical property testing on the lab samples
- Collecting and interpreting the test results to drive conclusion for the projects
- Presenting the final data and conclusion to the team
Requirements
- Pursuing a Graduates Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related major
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Ability to work Mid-May to Mid-August full time onsite in Carlisle, PA
