Commit to Post-Grad Service with Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry (BSVM)!
- 11-month commitment. Full time service while living in intentional community.
- Program provides housing, health insurance, transportation for the year, a monthly stipend, and an AmeriCorps Education Award.
- One community in two locations: Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA
- Serve within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System, providing a ministry of presence—placements in:
- Clinical and Public Health (Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Hospice, Inpatient Unit)
- Social Services (Housing and Community Development, Urban Farm)
- Education (Early Head Start, Middle School girls, High School)
- Live in the neighborhood where you serve in radical solidarity with the poor, the suffering, and those most in need.
- Be a part of an intentionally small and focused community with lots of support. 4-6 volunteers in each house.
- Grow spiritually, live simply, develop community, practice God’s justice, learn through service with others.
- Reflect together through an ecumenical spiritual formation curriculum over the year that touches on faith, justice, service, community, reciprocity, and discernment.
- Application Deadline: December 1st (early decision) and then rolling on the 15th of every month
