Financial Management Analyst

Conditions of Employment:

Minimum Requirements:

To be eligible, applicants must meet one of the following requirements: 

  • Completed all requirements for an associate, bachelor, master, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institutional within the previous two (2) years.  
  • Current students who will complete their degree requirements by May 31, 2024. 

 

Duties and Functions:

  • Applies basic concepts, principles, practices, and procedures of financial management.
  • Performs budget execution tasks, such as the recordation of commitments and obligations, utilizing various funds usage documents. 
  • Utilizes financial management systems in order to process funding documents and track programmatic budget execution, ensuring obligations and expenditures incurred by programs are in accordance with existing laws and regulations.
  • Monitors budget authority, funds balances, and execution performance.
  • Updates senior financial management analyst on the financial condition of program 
  • Assists senior financial management and program managers in developing the program budget.
