During your internship, you will be assigned a mentor that will help guide you to success, and one or more Project Owners who will help guide you through your specific project.

 

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: As an Analytics Intern you will be working with functional business partners throughout the supply chain organization and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work on building, operating, and scaling next generation data platforms and tools that will power data-driven analytics capabilities throughout the entire organization. Within Supply Chain Analytics and Demand Planning Analytics we provide our interns with real, meaningful projects that would normally be completed by one or more full time employees.

 

An example of a typical project would be: You will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data access and data pipeline to support our analytics processes, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. Examples of project work could include providing enhanced visibility to inventory positions, or leveraging supplier spend and lead time data to enable decision making for our supply chain stakeholders in their daily tasks and special projects.

 

Required skills and background: Strong desire for process improvement and strategic decision making. Exposure to data engineering tools, principles, and processes. Proficient with Office tools (Excel, Access etc.). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and communications skills.

 

  • Desired Major: Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems 
  • Desired Class Year: Sophomore, Junior
  • Desired Skills: Natural curiosity. Desire to answer questions with data. Desire for process improvement and strategic decision making. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and communications skills.
