GE Aerospace Research - Power Electronics Fellow Internship

As a Power Electronics Fellow Intern in our organization, you will be involved in

the development of new power electronics concepts. Your work will include:

power electronics system modeling and simulation,

design and testing of power converters and converter submodules, testing and characterization of power electronics devices,

EMI filter design for converters application. 
 

You will contribute to the development of advanced power conversion concepts as well as their implementation for application to electric and hybrid aircraft applications. Technical research internships at GE Research provide students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and get a critical jump start on a career in industrial research. This 12-14 week program includes seminars on cross-center technology and soft skills development as well as opportunities for networking and showcasing project accomplishments. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements :

Current enrollment in PhD program, seeking technical degree in Electrical Engineering; Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field in an accredited college or university

Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required. 

Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale.
