PLM Methods / CM Specialist

Job Description Summary:

Act as Product Lifecycle Management Methods (formerly known as Configuration Management) specialist supporting Product Life Cycle Configuration & Documentation (PLCCD) team. Collaborate with Program Configuration Control Board (CCB) Chairs to perform Bill of Material (BOM) loads. Partner with the PLM Methods team to define the next generation design change process and the tools used for configuration management. Aid in the creation of training and supporting documentation on configuration control tools and processes


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and be able to explain and apply the requirements in CCM-1
  • Recognize PLM Methods integration within Engineering Organization: Program, CCB, Product Definition, Systems & Design Engineering, and other functions.
  • Apply technical experience and analytical thinking to perform data analysis.
  • Support projects for internal and external sources.
  • Act as a resource for PLM team; lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in engineering operations).
  • Due to export control regulation restrictions, only US persons are eligible.

Desired Characteristics:

  • 2 years’ experience in engineering or PLM-related field
  • Education in a PLM-related university program
  • Clear thinker
  • Product Lifecycle Management tool experience
  • Experience working across organizations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
