Education Camp Assistant Intern- Summer, 2023
The Education Camp Assistant Intern position will be support for our Summer 2023 Design. Build. Sail. summer camps. This position will report to the youth and family programs coordinator on a daily basis and will directly assist full- and part-time staff members with summer camp duties.
Interns should have an interest in science and/or education, experience working with children in a formal or informal setting, love being outside around, on, or in the water, and be energetic and flexible. Effective communication skills in a camp environment and the ability to interact positively with children are essential for this position. The summer camp intern will assist with daily summer camp tasks such as: monitoring campers during programs and downtime, assisting with leading programs and activities, behavioral management, and prepping camp materials, as well as other tasks as directed.
Camp Weeks: June 26-30, July 10-14, July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31-August 4, August 7-11
Training: Thursday-Friday, June 22-23
