Quantum Communications and Optical Technology Internships (SCaN)

Principles of quantum mechanics, entanglement and superposition have exciting potential science applications in the areas of quantum sensing, quantum communications and networking, and atom interferometry. The Space Communications and Navigation team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking interns excited to develop next generation quantum technologies and infrastructures.

The work this summer takes several forms that require various experience levels, majors, and degree levels. Some remote work is available, but note that all lab work will requires in-person presence at the Goddard Space Flight Center campus. Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
