In Parenteral Filling (PF) Manufacturing, we are responsible for manufacturing the end-to-end Drug Product process that includes component preparation, compounding, filling, visual inspection and packaging of drug product. Position Description
- This role will support the PF manufacturing team in the following focus areas: Detailed description of role including but not limited to:
- Gaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Manufacturing Experience in PF
- Leading process improvement projects that support the manufacturing operations
- Daily Manufacturing Coordination such as Data Management, Manufacturing Support and Continuous Improvements, Equipment Coordination.
Example projects may include:
- Supporting component preparation efficiency improvements
- Working with support groups like Manufacturing Technical Operations, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Validation to meet production demands
- Support Manufacturing Coordination group with data entry as needed
- Time and Motion Studies
Qualifications:
- Safety-first mindset with great communication skills
- Interested in a hands-on experience in a GMP facility
- Able to speak one’s mind and team-oriented
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow company standard operating procedures and policies
To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Education
Rising Junior of Senior in a STEM major.
