Intern: Pharmaceutical Sciences (Multiple Positions Available)
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
We are currently seeking a sophomore, junior, senior and Master/PhD students studying for a degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, robotics, or a related field for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
- R&D of next Generation Dev tools and capabilities under supervision.
- Successful candidates will work with robotics, automation, and/or associated data to help in the optimization and productionalization of a variety of orchestrated automation tools.
- They will present on the problems they are assigned to work on as well as provide updates and a final presentation demonstrating their approach and what they have learned from the process.
Requirements
- Variety of skills in combination or separately will make candidates more likely to be selected including: prior wet bench experience with cell culture process dev, downstream process dev or process analytics, prior experience with laboratory robotics or automation, prior experience with coding with Python or C# and or experience working in an Amazon Web Services Cloud environment.
- The major requirements are Biology, BioChemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, robotics, or related fields.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
