Data Science Intern – Biopharmaceutical Knowledge Graph
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
We are currently seeking Master’s or PhD level students working towards a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative sciences field for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
- Developing a knowledge graph for Biopharmaceutical Development (BPD) data.
- Collecting/analyzing data, and building a knowledge graph to empower searchability, discovering novel relationships, and providing a graph for building predictive models.
Primary Duties:
- Exploring various datasets and data management tools within BPD to develope a knowledge graph.
- Analyzing the relationship among the data and utilizing the knowledge graph for data analysis and building predictive models.
POSITION REQUIREMENTSPosition Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD level students working towards a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative sciences field.
- Strong programming skills (Python).
- Solid knowledge of statistical data analysis and machine learning models.
- Expertise in knowledge graphs, NLP tools, and graph neural networks is desired.
