Social Media Co-Op

Remote/approximately 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule

The Talent Attraction team is responsible for developing and marketing our employer brand around the world. This means we work to develop an accurate and compelling picture of what life is like as a Ford employee and help people understand why they should work here. We create content for social media and internal use, select tools that our Talent Acquisition team and other employees can use to advocate and advertise, and ensure everything has a consistent look and feel.
In this position…
  • You’ll gain experience working for a global corporation in a friendly and supportive environment, as well as an understanding of complex customer needs and business priorities.
  • You’ll gain experience using content management systems, building a calendar, translating strategy into content, paid vs. organic posts, and measurement of impact
  • You’ll work flexible hours remotely that fit your schedule and learn new social media and employee advocacy tools
What you’ll do…
  • You’ll use various content management systems to assign work and manage posts
  • You’ll work with our team and other teams in the company to understand their needs and develop ideas into social media posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other sites
  • You’ll take your extensive remote learning experience and apply those skills to a remote working environment using Webex team chats and meetings (but we promise we share dog pictures and movie recommendations a lot, too!).
You’ll have…
  • One to two years of college in communications, marketing, advertising, or similar program
