Audio Systems Engineering Summer 2023 Internship

Position Summary
This is an intern position for an engineering student who’s interested in becoming a software and systems engineer in the field of Audio and Acoustics.
Your role will be within our SOC and systems applications teams. You will be working on the analysis of a variety of audio and acoustic systems. You will interface with other engineering teams within the business unit, including our chip/SOC development team, our software development team, our wireless team, and our AI neural network development team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering or science education program.
- Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, DC power supplies, etc.
- Ability to program in Python, C, C++
- Understanding of audio systems.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing fundamentals.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and love challenges. Ability to take ownership and ask for help when needed.
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience of audio measurement tools and equipment, microphones, mixers, etc.
- Developing software for automating tests.
- Experience with the principals of acoustics.
- Experience with soldering SMT components.
