As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Team:
- The Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department provides a range of Immunology-based services, focusing on cell-based assays, immunoassays, and/or flow cytometry, for clients including the processing or isolation of samples, collection of data, data analysis, and generation of study reports.
Internship Assignment Summary:
- Learn to document work and laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices(GLP) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements
- Provide, analyze, and discuss scientific data collected during specialized testing
- Attend training sessions to learn I&I functions and work towards the specific competency levels required
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment
- Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a enrolled in undergraduate university working towards a bachelor’s degree
- Excellent customer service skills including attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication skills
- Conscientious, disciplined, flexible and adaptable, having a sense of responsibility and to ensure that work is performed accurately and precisely and in a timely manner
