Job Description
The DAS team at the Irvine design center is seeking an Electrical Engineering Summer/Fall 2023 Co-op student to help support design engineering with test and evaluation tasks for test/IP development, and feasibility studies. The Co-op will take place in our Irvine, CA location between June - December 2023.
Tasks will include:
- Block and chip level verification and debug
- Circuit analysis, design, and optimization
- Process simulation/measurement data and interpret results
- If needed, support test engineering in test development
Qualifications
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of electrical engineering theory, MOS/BJT operation, basic op-amp design
- Applicable coursework includes analog, mixed-signal IC design, and RF design
- Familiarity with circuit simulators (e.g. hspice, Spectre)
- Programming languages such as python, LabView, Verilog-A is a plus
