Digital Engineer – Hardware Systems – Entry Level

Company Description:

At Ford Motor Company, we believe freedom of movement drives human progress. We also believe in providing you with the freedom to define and realize your dreams. With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career potential as you help us define tomorrow’s transportation.

Do you have what it takes to make smart vehicles for a smart world? The Ford Product Development team at our Engineering Center in Sunrise Florida is looking for Electrical and Computer Engineers to work in the next generation modules for vehicles. The successful candidate will be working with a design team to implement circuits, validate circuit implementations, analyze, and resolve hardware failures. You will be responsible to meet Ford’s quality, on time and maintaining cost targets.

The team is also looking for Software Engineering Co-Ops. Enterprise Connectivity, one of Ford's Software and Technology teams, works to design, develop, validate, release, operate, and support the software that enables our connected vehicle experiences. This area covers the spectrum from in-vehicle infotainment and services (SYNC, EV Charging, Intelligent EV Distance-to-Empty, Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto) to retail and commercial apps (FordPass, FordPass Pro, FordPass Performance Off-road Navigation, LincolnWay). As a Software and Technology Co-Op at Ford Motor Company, you will have the opportunity to leverage your existing knowledge to build new skills, forge strong peer connections, and create a professional network - all in-between school terms. In an alternating 1 semester co-op, you will collaborate directly and continuously with other engineers, product managers, designers, and business partners using Agile practices in a fast-paced environment.
