Seagate Summer Intern - Robotics Software Engineer

Location:  Longmont, CO, US

About the role - you will:

You will primarily be developing software to control automated disc drive assembly equipment and processes. Your project responsibilities may also include defining requirements, devising concepts, architecting and developing software, assembly, setup, test, troubleshooting, qualification, and statistical analysis. 


About you:

  • Interested in control automation 
  • Willing to learn other technical languages 
  • Proactive and takes initiative in asking questions 


Your experience includes:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and returning to school in fall 2022 
  • Knowledge and skills in C#, C++ or .NET 
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, automation or robotics 
 
Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base hourly range for this position: $18-33. Actual range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
