Seagate HR People Analytics and Reporting Summer Intern

Location:  Fremont, CA, US

About our group:

This team provides analytics and reporting to the global HR group, collaborating with the various HR functions, HR Business Partners and HRIS.


About the role - you will:

  • Design and deliver dashboards for analysis using SAP SuccessFactors Story reporting tools.
  • Define and complete analytical projects to determine trends and relationships focused on employee data, diversity, succession, performance and learning using Excel and Tableau.
  • Work with various HR project teams to translate analytical findings to simple and targeted business focused actions.
  • Translate business needs into data modeling, analytical or tool-building initiatives.


About you:

  • The successful candidate must be a highly motivated team player who is able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment that requires a high level of independent judgment and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to understand and dissect complex problems and effectively communicate their recommendations.
  • Have razor-sharp analytical skills and with the ability to lead projects independently from start to finish.
  • Ability to use data to tell a story based on the insights from analysis.


Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree with an analytics focus .
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, large scale, high dimensionality data from varying sources.
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear, precise and actionable manner.
