Software Test & Tool Development - Summer Intern

Location:  Longmont, CO, US

About our group:

The CSP Test & Automation Tools organization uses the latest technology to develop system level tests for cloud storage customers as well as global test automation infrastructure.

About the role - you will:

  • Work in a team environment to develop unit tests that are used to validate system level tests on cloud customer systems as well as create automation processes to facilitate the execution of the testing.
  • Assist with development and debugging of system level tests
  •  Work closely with a technical mentor who will provide guidance to ensure a successful experience
  • Become part of a highly skilled collaborative team whose expertise range from utilizing open source tools to validate product performance and functionality, to full stack development used in developing a seamless automation process.

About you:

  • Self-motivated
  • Energetic and excited to work in a collaborative team environment on new projects using the latest technology

Your experience includes:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Math/Science related subjects and enrolled in Fall 2022 courses
  • Experience with software programming languages such as Python or C/C+
  • Experience with Linux operating system
 
 
Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $17-33. Actual range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
