What you’ll be able to do:

Through our Summer Internship, you’ll gain the experience, knowledge and skills to take your career to another level. Throughout this 12-week program, you’ll enjoy hands-on involvement in some of the ground-breaking initiatives we’ve got going on. In addition to developing technically and professionally, you’ll be able to build a network of friends and contacts.
The software technology intern program within PD evaluates students by offering them summer employment with relevant and challenging assignments. The program offers an excellent opportunity to experience, learn, and implement the latest software development technologies in a highly collaborative and agile environment.

Minimum Requirements for the PD Software Intern Program:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree or PhD in one of the following fields:
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Engineering degrees in electrical, controls, or mechatronics
- A related field that employs software development skills
- 3.0 overall GPA minimum
- Graduation date between December 2022 and August 2023, limited opportunities for May 2024 graduates
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Analytical and creative problem solving skills
Preferred Requirements:
- 3.4 GPA or higher
- Experience using tools such as Unix/Linux, Oracle, MatLab, Python, Mechatronics, Simulink, multi-body simulation tools, C++, Python, AI or Machine Learning methods, etc.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work within diverse teams
