R3581529 GE Gas Power - Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) 2022

Essential Responsibilities :
As a Gas Power EEDP, you will:
  • Work on 4 six-month rotations over 2 years in a variety of disciplines.
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
  • Participate in leadership development training with GE Gas Power program members from other functions and locations.
  • Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS)
  • Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
  • EEDP's in Gas Power experience technically challenging and innovative rotations in the power generation industry focusing in the areas of Systems, Analysis, Design, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
  • The core engineering skills gained in assignments are enhanced through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training.

Qualifications/Requirements :
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Engineering majors stated below from an ABET accredited university.
  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0

Desired Characteristics :
  • Passion/desire to work in the Gas Power industry.
  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, confident, flexible in changing environments.
  • Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
  • Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
  • Proven scholastic achievements and proactive leadership skills

Other Vacancy notes:
  • Greenville, SC, Schenectady NY are potential locations for first year. Other select locations inside the US are available in the second year of the program, Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX.
  • Relocation package is included.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 (on 4.0 overall scale)
  • Graduation dates: Fall 2021 or Spring 2022
  • Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Controls Engineering, Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering, other Energy Engineering related majors will be considered.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications :
