Summer Internship 2022- 2yrs away from Completing 150 credits

Calling all 3rd years, Juniors and others that two years away from 150! We are looking for interns to join us during the summer of 2021 to learn about both Audit and Tax.

Our unique internship showcases our clients, our staff, our beautiful city, and our commitment to our community. All summer interns receive an orientation to our systems and our firm. Each intern will spend half of their time in Audit and half of their time in Tax with the option to shadow in our Risk Advisory Group and our Valuation & Forensics Group. While in Audit interns will go onsite with a team and help conduct an audit. In Tax interns will experience preparing returns, conducting research, and sharing their findings.

Prior intern fun has included:
  • A visit to our client who owns an aviation business. Yes, we have gone on helicopter rides!
  • Volunteer Day at a local food bank which is one of our clients
  • Participation in the Richmond Chamber of Commerce's YRichmond program (past events have included Federal Reserve Tours, White Water Rafting, CEO lunches, and Segway Tours of Richmond landmarks)

In the summer of 2020: We were able to host both of our summer internships virtually for 5 weeks. We are confident in our ability moving forward to provide a valuable virtual experience in the summer of 2021 if needed.
  • We mailed each intern a laptop, monitor and work from home materials
  • Had a week of virtual New Hire Orientation where we trained our interns on Audit and Tax software
  • Provided the interns two weeks in each department where they were able to do client work
  • Hosted virtual events, training, success factor series and games to showcase Keiter culture

For the in-person experience, we have custom designed intern workspace which includes three monitors and a laptop. If this piques your interest please apply and be sure to visit us at your next school recruiting event.

*please note: we are still determining how we will host our 2021 summer interns. At this time, we are planning for a hybrid internship*
