A Scientific Research & Development (R&D) company in Northern Virginia has openings for interns, co-op, Postdoc and full-time positions at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.

We are charting a bold new course to completely reshape the landscape of the Materials chemistry field through a collaborative approach to both technology development and Blue Sky research. To support our operations, we are recruiting current and future college engineering and science graduates from top-tier Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D. degree programs to join us in a variety of roles in our facility. Potential job areas include General Chemistry, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

Desired Qualifications:

- BS, MS or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical engineering, and related fields.

-Students currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a top engineering or science BS degree program or progress within a MS or Ph.D. degree program will be considered for internship and Co-op positions.-

-Areas of interest include Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering or other related Materials and Manufacturing Science, textile engineering, nanotechnology or equivalent are desired disciplines

-Experience working in a chemical or biochemical laboratory

- Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and self-starter

-Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization

- Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs

-Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
