Established in 1963, The Branch Group provides high-level leadership and innovation for construction management, design-build, site-work, specialty subcontracting, and heavy highways, in addition to mechanical and electrical services. The Branch Group touches on all of these aspects of the built environment, through its subsidiaries: Branch Civil, Branch Builds, and Hopkins | Lacy.

The Intern Program at the Branch Group is designed to provide students with maximum exposure to all aspects of our operating companies. Our summer course allows students to choose their path. The first is a corporate services internship with our Accounting, IT, HR, Marketing, or Safety Departments. The second is a rotational program that focuses on three major areas of the company: Estimating, Project Management, and Field Management. Students will spend the summer learning the estimating and bidding process, participating in the administrative management of a project, and experiencing the construction process firsthand. Each area provides a unique and critical service to any major contractor and our company as a whole. Our program allows students to witness how a set of plans for a highway or building site becomes a finished product. This knowledge and capability are crucial for the construction industry, design, and other engineering career paths.
